How to care for barefoot shoes?
Have you bought barefoot shoes that you want to wear all year round, but you don't know how to properly care for them? We bring you some tips and tricks for proper shoe maintenance.
As we wear shoes in different terrains, it is common that we expose them daily not only to dirt, but also to water or dust. However, it can be easily dealt with by shoe impregnation. Not only does it protect the shoes, but thanks to the revolutionary NANO technology, it provides even more intensive impregnation and greaterprotectionfrom the weather.
While wearing, we may be surprised by heavy rain. What should I do if our shoes get wet? If shoes come into contact with salt or mud, it is important to dry and clean them quickly.
For shoes made of smooth leather, a damp cloth is enough to remove the coarsest dirt. For shoes made of nubuck leather or suede, you must use a special cleaning eraser. If this is not easy, we recommend using dirt remover spray. This removes even larger amounts of dirt without altering the shoe color. After cleaning the shoes, let them dry and they will be ready to wear again.
Our tip: If you want the shoes to dry faster, crumple up old newspaper and put it inside the cleaned shoes (you can change the paper more often to speed up drying). Do not dry cleaned shoes near a radiator or other intense heat source.
If you own barefoot shoes made of smooth leather, we recommend using shoe leather wax, which regenerates and refreshes the leather, protects it from water and dryness. It promotes color durability and ensures shine.

What to absolutely avoid?
- Never machine wash shoes or tumble dry.
- Do not dry them near the radiator, as intense heat can cause the leather to shrink or damage the stitching and glued parts of the shoes.
- After contact with water, dry them as soon as possible.
With proper care, your shoes will last for years. The more love you give them, the more they will come back to you in the kilometers you walk and in healthy feet. We wish you enjoyable wear.
