Our shoes meet all barefoot requirements. They have an anatomical shape with enough space for all toes and a zero drop between the heel and the toe. Shoes are flexible in all directions and very lightweight.
To extend the lifespan of the boots, we recommend applying the waterproofing treatment regularly.

At the sight of Shapens, your heart beats strongly, and you hold your breath. But it may happen that they simply do not fit you, which we find terribly unfortunate. In this case of being in between, we recommend choosing the larger size. You can easily correct too much extra space with insoles.

With ballerina shoes the maximum of 0.7 cm is recommended, however it is largely subjective. A woman who has just started wearing barefoot shoes need a smaller toe allowance. Experienced barefoot shoes wearers find 1 cm toe allowance comfortable, some find comfortable even larger space.

It depends on the upper material. If your Shapens are smooth leather, just wipe them with a damp cloth and apply a suitable product when dry. We recommend polishing with balms or beeswax. This prevents cracking, maintains the integrity of the material surface, thereby preserving the original property and quality of the leather.
If you have Shapens made of nubuck or velour (suede), never clean them wet, like smooth leather, but dry with special abrasive sponges or brushes. The upkeep of nubuck and suede shoes is a bit more difficult, so they need to be treated with special products that renovate the shoes and restore their color. Now not so good - I wish these boots were a tad longer/taller to avoid high snow from falling in at the egde, easier to put on (maybe add a zipper?) and much warmer (they are warm, but not mountain snow warm, so buy these a size up and get very thick socks).
